The coroner Catherine Rudel-Tessier blame Coulongeois The residence of Quebec for the death of one of its residents.
According to the coroner, Marguerite Cloutier, 84 years old, would probably not died of pneumonia last February, if it had been well treated.
A week before his death, Ms. Cloutier was treated at the Hotel-Dieu de Quebec for swelling in the legs. She was subsequently transferred to The Coulongeois residence for temporary accommodation.
She developed pneumonia in the days that followed and his condition deteriorated. However, no doctor or nurse has been called to his bedside, even if his condition requires.
The clerk who was found dead had attempted any maneuver and 911 was called two hours later.
